Yasser Qaffas is a lecturer in Urban and Regional Planning at the Faculty of Environmental Design, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 

He got his master's degree in public housing planning from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland and BSc in Urban and Regional Planning from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah - Saudi Arabia.
